Speaking on Pluzz FM Monday, Kofi Supremme who was a contender at the second edition of the MTN Hitmaker (II) pointed accusing fingers at the Ga rapper Shilo and YFM’s Kumasi presenter, NYDJ for stealing his song.
According to Kofi Supremme, Shilo’s version of the ‘Yene Mmaa Naa’ song had the same chorus he (supremme) used on his original track. When asked how Shilo may have come by his track, Supremme noted that after recording the track, in the course of finding help to promote the track, he sent the songs to some musicians, Dj’s and Bloggers like Young So, Cabum, Dj Simms, Willy Maame, Dj Quest and others.
The livid artist who could not restrain himself invoked ‘Antoa’ curse on anyone who claims ownership of his song.
He however noted that Shilo and Kofi Kinaata had apologized to him over the stolen song, following which the presenter asked him retract the curse.
The lingering issue landed in GHAMMRO office at Kumasi but all efforts to resolve the alleged song theft by Shilo proved futile.
Shilo has refused to comment on the issue, explaining that he’s been instructed by the care taker of the ‘Antoa’ Shrine to keep mute.
