Veteran gospel musician Diana Hopeson is celebrating 25 years as a gospel artiste.
As part of the anniversary, the gospel minstrel together with other colleagues and her management team visited some media houses to show appreciation for their continues support towards her career. Diana Hopeson during the first phase of her “Thank You” media tour visited Class Media Group, owners of Accra FM and Class FM.
From there, she moved to Multimedia Group, owners of Hitz FM, Joy FM, Asempa FM, Adom FM and Multi TV. She ended her day at Despite Group of Company, owners of Peace FM, Hello FM, Neat FM, Okay FM and UTV. The musician formerly known as Diana Akiwumi presented to each media group a citation to show how she values their support towards her ministry.
The musician after presenting the citation to the media groups she visited cut cake and toasted with them to renew the bond they have. The “Onyame Ye Odomfo” singer also used the opportunity to officially present her new single “Aseda” which features rapper Okyeame Kwame. The newly released she said is the title track of her yet-to-be-released album, which will be out in early 2017.
Nana Apeanti, Mark Okreku Mantey and Ken who represented Class Media Group, Multimedia Group and Despite Group of Company respectively thanked the musician for recognizing their efforts to help her career. They further asked her to call on them whenever she needs their help.
The former MUSIGA president who released her first album in 1991 has been off the music scene for the past ten years but has released a new single titled “Aseda” which features rapper Okyeame Kwame to commemorate the silver jubilee. Diana Hopeson during the ten-year period was busy with music administration.
Gospel musicians who joined Diana Hopeson to visit these three media house were Bernice Offei and Mary Ghansah.
