Close source to the Ghanaian politician who ran for President of Ghana in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections as the New Patriotic Party candidate tells that he called to assure them of his support.

The two musicians, Reggie N Bollie were happy to receive a call from Nana Addo who encouraged them to soar higher at the 12th season of British favorite “The X Factor”.

Nana Addo after he contacted the two Ghanaians at X Factor announced on Facebook that:

I just spoke to Reggie ‘N’ Bollie. I wished them well in tonight’s ‪#‎XFactor‬ show, and I hope they go all the way to the grande finale. Ghana is, indeed, proud of their exploits, in their showcasing of Ghanaian talent on the international stage. Godspeed and good luck to them.

Both artistes again thanked controversial movie producer, Socrate Safo and Ghanaian media for rallying behind them at the ongoing reality show. Socrate Safo weeks ago was reported to have asked government to support the group formerly known as “Menn on Point” at the X Factor.

“The minister must follow some of these things and just send a minute to the president or call the president and tell him “Mr. President, we have two of our sons marketing Ghana on international platform for free.” They said they are from Ghana, West Africa. People are going to google and check what businesses are in Ghana, even entertainment business. They are going to follow Ghana to even see who the president is and which party the president is from. These are some of the reasons why we pick ministers but not just to grace occasions, functions and give speeches. You do some of these strategic moves”

The call by Socrate Safo according to Reggie N Bollie has helped them at the event. They revealed that organisers and judges of the show were happy to read reports that Ghanaians were campaigning for them to win this year’s show.

Reggie N Bollie are in the fifth week of the British reality television music competition
